See the Exhibits and Grab a Bite at the Downtown Aquarium in Denver. When traveling to the Denver area, vacationers will find many different things to do. One of the most interesting is the Downtown Aquarium. Those who come to the aquarium will find not only some great exhibits, but also a great restaurant within the aquarium. It is a great place to visit for the whole family.

The exhibits at the aquarium are fascinating and provide a glimpse at aquatic creatures from around the world.

The North American exhibit shows a variety of aquatic habitats from across the continent. You can see a variety of different kinds of fish and other creatures in the exhibit. In the Under the Sea exhibit, you can see a simulated reef and all of the different creatures that make the area their home. In the Shipwreck exhibit, you will see paintings that show shipwrecks, as well as the coral reef – the cause of many shipwrecks through the ages.

The aquarium has added some new creatures to their collection recently. In the Rainforest exhibit, you can keep an eye out for rainbow fish. In the Under the Sea Exhibit you will notice the ribbon dragons. When you are having your meal in the restaurant, you can even see two great barracuda, some of the fiercest and most interesting creatures in the sea.

The Aquarium Restaurant is a wonderful place to dine. You are seated around a 150,000 gallon aquarium, where you can see a variety of different marine creatures swimming by including sawfish and rays. In the Dive Lounge, you will be able to grab a cocktail before or after dinner. The lounge is a great place to unwind.

Before you leave, be sure to check out the Treasure Chest Gift Shop. You will be able to find tons of great souvenirs, from apparels and toys to books that will help to commemorate your trip.

The Aquarium Adventure Exhibit is open Sunday through Thursday from 10AM to 9PM and on Friday and Saturday from 10AM to 9:30PM. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11AM to 9PM and on Friday and Saturday from 11AM to 10PM.
