When you go "out west" for a vacation you probably want to do some horseback riding.  It’s part of the American West and certainly a part of the great Colorado Vacation experience.

The Academy Riding Stable offers something from the oldest to the youngest.  The youngsters that are not ready for a ride on a full size horse have the opportunity to do the pony rides.  The older riders will ride one of the more mature horses on the trail rides.

This stable wants you to be there 30 minutes before the scheduled ride time so they can match you with a horse that will fit your experience.  You will be on a one or two hour ride.  There will be a cowboy with you to assist you with any questions you have or fear you may feel.  Riding horse is one of the most pleasurable experiences you can possibly have so enjoy the experience.

The stable is open year around (weather permitting).  Only one rider per horse is allowed.

See the Colorado that the cowboys experienced 100 years ago.  Relax, enjoy the ride and come back often.

Office Hours: 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily
Must be 8 years old, 250 lb weight limit

Reservations recommended.
Prices

1 hour: $38.00 (plus park fee of $1.50)
2 hours: $55.00 (plus park fee of $1.50)
Perimeter Ride: $75.00 (3 hours) (plus park fee of $1.50)
Pony Rides: $9.95 (includes 5X7 photo)
$1.50 Park Fee added to all trail rides.

Groups of 10 or more: 5% off
Groups of 20 or more: 10% off
