Thrills Await at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. Glenwood Springs, Colorado has a number of interesting sights for travelers to see. The attraction that most people want to see when coming to the area is the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. The Park, located on top of Iron Mountain, is a fun place for kids and adults alike and it offers a variety of different activity types.

Visitors to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park will find many different things to love about the Park. You can take cave tours, try out some of the incredible thrill rides, and do a whole lot more.

Many guests want to take a cave tour when the come to the Park. You will find several different types of cave tour from which to choose: the Walking Tour, Adventure Tour, and Wild Tour.

The Walking Tour of Glenwood Caverns and Historic Fairy Caves takes you on a scenic journey through the caverns and out to Exclamations Point, a balcony on the cliffs. The Walking Tour is easy for people of all fitness levels.

The Adventure Tour takes you through some more difficult parts of the cave system. In some places, you will actually have to crawl. It is a fun experience, and you will get to see some interesting underground formations – but you can expect to get dirty.

The Wild tour is a trip through the caves that is more difficult still. This three-hour tour takes you deep into the caves, through some incredibly tight spaces less than 18 inches high. You will be able to see parts of the cave system that most people will never even know exist.

Visitors will also find some great thrill rides while at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. The Canyon Flyer, Swing Shot, and Bungee Trampoline are all great fun for those who want to get the adrenalin going.

The Canyon Flyer is an alpine coaster where you control the speed. You travel 3,400 feet down the mountainside, around corners and through the forest in a coaster car either alone or with a friend. At the end of the ride, the coaster car brings you back up the mountain where the ride began.

The Swing Shot launches you at 50 miles per hour out above the Colorado River, giving you incredible views of the valley far below. The Bungee Trampoline allows you to safely jump, spin, and somersault all with the safety of a bungee harness.
